Kubernetes Fast-Track

A real good Warp-9 training not only to get started with Kubernetes, but to be able to deploy an application and set up a cluster on AWS with low-ops tools too.

Topics covered (with code and practice):

• Low-ops development and production tools: MiniKube, kops
  
• Networking: ingress, load balancer
• Storage
• Configuration and ConfigMaps
• Infrastructure, deploying to AWS
• Managed K8s
• Autoscaling, High Availability

My objective was to get an application in a multi-node cluster up and running, with persistent storage made available through an NFS mount.

The course covered all I needed to know, and more, and all in just a few hours (overall I spent 10 hours on the course and labs).
