Excellent workshop by Stephane Maarek that covers many areas of CloudFormation. Each lecture was accompanied by illustrative cloudformation stack files and code samples.

Of particular interest to me were these topics:

• Nested stacks
• Registry / Custom resources
• Modules
• Macros
• Explanation of cfn-init and cfn-hup

The course also provides many links to CloudFormation tools, utilities and references.

The videos were about 7 hours in length, but with practical exercises using the provided templates, it would take about 16-24 hours.
